Mel Leong has shared a series of posts that praise her new boyfriend, and described herself as “luckiest girl in the world”.

MasterChef celebrity Melissa Leong has shared a love-filled post on social media featuring her new partner, just ten months after when she announced her divorce.

The 39-year old food writer turned TV host shared two cozy black-and-white photos that showed her on an unoccupied sleeping bed alongside Rob Mason, with the caption: “This is us.”

A few hours prior she posted her own black-and-white photo of Mason with a caption that reads: “Luckiest girl in the world.”

Leong first posted a picture of her new lover via social media in the month of July with a glowing tribute.

In a post on Facebook, the tattooed father of three who created the brand of haircare Morris Motley, Leong said Mason was the “best part of my day”.

“Gratuitous hot dad post, a day late,” Leong wrote, in reference to Father’s Day.

“Creator of world class cosmetics and the brains behind @morrismotley, brilliant father to a legendary babe squad and the best part of my day, nothing but love.”

Leong confirmed that she and her the husband Joe Jones had split after nearly five years of being married in the latter part of December last year.

The shocking pre-Christmas news on the Instagram page, telling her followers they “the time has come” for her and her bar’s proprietor husband to break up.

“It has brought us such happiness to walk together, but the time has come for Joe and I to part ways and walk on, apart,” she wrote, with a photo of the couple in their ceremony at Joshua Tree in California.

“We need your understanding and respect for our privacy. We are not going to make any further statements since our private lives are always been the same. We would like to wish you peace at close of a difficult year for everyone.”

Leong has been raving regarding her romance with Jones in an interview in June of 2020 in the magazine TV Week and explained that they had been engaged after just three months. They were they were married just two months after.

“When you know you know,” she told me that time. “Everything’s so good as it is – I’m really happy.”
