Police were notified of the incident yesterday afternoon and confirmed that several girls have spoken with investigators.
Detectives are still working to determine the total number of students affected.
Detective Sergeant Simon Garner from the Sex Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Unit stated that police are seeking to interview at least two students from the school who were suspended in connection with the “disturbing” AI-generated image scandal.
“We are still working to locate the whereabouts of the two suspended students,” Garner said.
“We urge them to come forward as soon as possible.”
“I find the situation deeply disturbing and despicable—the images are highly inappropriate.”
Sharing real or digitally manipulated nude images of individuals under 18 is a criminal offense.

“This is an extremely serious offense involving the production, possession, and distribution of child exploitation material,” Garner said.
“It is a grave matter, and we are treating it with the utmost seriousness.”
An email obtained by 9News from principal Veronica Hoy confirmed that the school was aware some senior students had been sharing AI-generated images via social media and group chats.
The email was sent to parents and guardians of the school.
Detectives confirmed they were first alerted to the incident yesterday.
“We are working to determine the number of victims affected,” a Victoria Police spokesperson said.
“Police are currently providing support to the identified victims, their families, and the school. Investigations remain ongoing.”
In an email to parents, Hoy described the incident as “misogynistic and disrespectful.”
“This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable at our school, and appropriate disciplinary action has been taken,” the email stated.
A Department of Education spokesperson emphasized that “disrespectful behavior” has no place in any Victorian school.
“Gladstone Park Secondary College has implemented appropriate disciplinary measures and is offering wellbeing support to any students in need,” the department said.
“Schools, along with parents, carers, and the broader community, play a vital role in addressing disrespectful behavior.
