Antonela Roccuzzo is an Argentine model and businessman who has been married to Lionel Messi since 2017.

Lionel and Antonela met for the first time when Lionel was five years old. Antonela was the cousin of Lionel’s best friend from childhood, Lucas Scaglia.

As a young boy, Lionel allegedly fell in love with Antonela right away after meeting her and told her she would be his girlfriend when they were older.

After Antonela’s close friend died in a terrible car accident in 2007, the two got back together and started dating again. Lionel asked Antonela to marry him in 2010 after they had been dating for two years. On June 30, 2017, they got married in a big wedding in Rosario, Argentina, where they both grew up.

Their first kid, Thiago Messi Roccuzzo, was born in Barcelona, Spain, on November 2, 2012. Soon after his first boy was born, Lionel posted a picture of himself with the baby’s name and handprints tattooed on his calf.

When Lionel and Antonela told everyone in April 2015 that they were going to have their second child, they named him Matteo. He was born on September 11, 2015.

Lionel told Argentinian reporter Sebastian Vignolo this about his son: “Mateo is the same as I was when I was little.” He doesn’t want to lose anything.

Antonela told the public in October 2017 that she and her husband were going to have their third child. On March 10, 2018, their boy Ciro was born.
